You can either buy a dog from a breeder or you can rescue one from a shelter. If you get a dog from a rescue shelter you probably haven’t met that dog’s parents. If you buy a dog from a breeder you will have a chance to meet that puppy’s mom (remember to make sure to meet your new puppies parents and siblings before you buy!) But do you know who that puppy’s grandma was? How about that puppy’s great grandma or great-great grandma?
